While we will always get a few classic, looking-at-the-camera shots, the emphasis is on candid, real moments and creating images that show you and your family as your authentic selves.
I guide you through the photography session from start to finish in a variety of ways - from helping you choose the best location for your photos, to assisting with outfit selection to ensure you all look your best, to providing you with prompts during the session that get everyone smiling and interacting in a natural, laidback way.
My style is organic and natural - the images I create for you will feel timeless and classic. I'm here to bring out the best in what's already there between you and your family - the real smiles, the sweet laughs, and the genuine emotion and connection you share.

How it Works

Before the Session
Before your Sonoma lifestyle photography session, I will send you a questionnaire so I can learn about you and your family, and your ideas and preferences for the session. This way, I can tailor the experience specifically to your family's needs. I'll help you pick out the perfect outfits as well as offer personalized guidance and my best tips and tricks honed from years of experience. I'll also help you with picking the best location for outdoor sessions.

After the Session
Within two weeks of your session, I will send you your private online gallery of high resolution photos. These are completely yours to share, print, and showcase as you would like!

During the Session
During the session, it's all about relaxing and interacting with your kids! You'll never be left standing there wondering what to do in front of the camera - I'll keep you feeling comfortable and supported as I guide you through the session with prompts and laidback instruction. My goal is to keep everyone feeling relaxed - no stiff posing, no fake smiles. Yes, we'll get that perfect shot looking at the camera - but the majority of the session will be about creating joyful moments between you and your little ones. That's when the real magic happens!

Q: WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS WILL I GET AT MY SONOMA COUNTY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
A: Your family session will include photos of your whole family together plus mom with kids, dad with kids, kids alone and more! There will be a mix of classic looking-at-the-camera shots along with candid, natural moments of your family interacting.
