What to expect with maternity photography.
How it Works
You can expect your Marin, Napa, or Sonoma County maternity photography session to be calm, relaxed, and comfortable. This is a special time for you and your family and my goal is to capture memories that you will be thrilled to look back on - especially with your baby when they're older. This is a time that is so monumental - the cusp of a huge life shift! - and I'm here to create images that will help you remember the magic of that moment.

Before the Session
Before your maternity photography session, I will send you a questionnaire so I can learn about you and your family, and your ideas and preferences for the session. This way I can tailor the experience specifically to your family's needs. I'll help you pick out the perfect outfits, as well as offering personalized guidance and my best tips and tricks honed from my years of experience. I'll also help you with picking the best location for outdoor sessions.

After the Session
Within two weeks of your session, I will send you your private online gallery of high resolution photos. These are completely yours to share, print, and showcase as you would like!

During the Session
During the session, all you'll need to do is relax and focus on your family or partner - I'll be taking care of the rest! I'll guide you through a series of setups and "poses" (i.e., you won't look stiff and posed, but you also won't be standing there in front of my camera with no idea of how to stand or what to do with your hands!). If you're expecting your first child, we'll focus on creating imagery of you, your bump, and you with your partner. If you have kids, this will be a family session as well as a maternity session!

Q: WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS WILL I GET AT MY SONOMA COUNTY MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
A: Your maternity session will include photos of you solo, highlighting your beautiful bump, as well as photos of you with your partner, and photos of the whole family if you have kids already. We can do bump-baring shots if you'd like, and pets are more than welcome too!
Q: WHERE DO YOU TRAVEL?
A: As a Sonoma County Maternity Photographer, I serve families all over Santa Rosa, Marin, Napa, Novato, and the North Bay. Don't see your location listed? Just ask!
I am so happy I took a chance on Diana to capture my last maternity photos. She made my family and I feel comfortable and relaxed during our shoot.
