My goal is to make sure that you enjoy your Sonoma, Marin, or Napa County newborn photography session and get results you'll treasure for a lifetime. I use my years of experience to guide you through the session in a way that will make it fun and relaxing for everyone.
What to Expect
Not sure how to pose? I provide you with prompts that will bring out your most natural smiles and get you and your partner laughing and interacting in an easy, laidback way. I'll tell you exactly what to do so you're looking your best for every shot.
Nervous about what to do if your baby starts crying? I've got a proverbial bag of tricks to ensure that your baby is soothed and we're back on track in no time!
Worried about feeling rushed? I build in time for feeding, changing, and comforting as needed, so you never have to worry that we won't have time to create a beautiful gallery of images.

As a newborn photographer, my goal is to capture the newest addition to your family in a light, bright, and natural style. As a seasoned photographer with a passion for authenticity, I understand the importance of preserving these fleeting moments for you to cherish for a lifetime. During our sessions, which typically take place within the first two weeks of your baby's arrival, I create a comfortable and relaxed environment where you and your family can feel at ease. In the comfort of your own home, I strive to create images that are not only beautiful but also deeply meaningful.

How it Works

Before the Session
Before your Sonoma County newborn photography session, I will send you a questionnaire so I can learn about you and your family, and your ideas and preferences for the session. This helps me to tailor the experience specifically to your family's needs. I'll help you pick out the perfect outfits, as well as offer personalized guidance and my best tips and tricks honed from my years of experience. I will also provide you with helpful guidance on how to prepare your home and baby beforehand so we'll be set up for a successful session!

After the Session
Within two weeks of your session, I will send you a link to your private online gallery where you can share and download the photos as you would like.

During the Session
My goal is to put you at ease, keep things relaxed and comfortable, and capture the sweetest moments of you and your family during our newborn photography session. My focus is on baby-led posing, an approach which emphasizes natural, vs. more stylized, posing of your baby. This allows me to create and capture moments that are authentic, timeless, and organic. We'll capture images of baby solo, baby with each parent, baby and parents together, the whole family together, and siblings with baby (pets are family too, and more than welcome!).

Q: WHEN DO SONOMA COUNTY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
A: Timing for your newborn session is very flexible. It can be anywhere from 5 days after birth to 3 weeks, or we can wait longer. It’s about when you’re ready, and it’s never too late.
Q: WHERE DO NEWBORN SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
A: Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home, where I will utilize the natural light that organically shines through the windows.
Q: HOW LONG DO SONOMA COUNTY BABY PHOTO SESSIONS TAKE?
A: The length of a session is variable, depending on the needs of your baby. I will walk you through a series of seamless setups so we get all of the images we need in an efficient manner, but ultimately we follow baby’s lead. If your baby needs breaks for feeding, changing, comforting, or anything else- we will do that. My goal is to move through the session in a way that maximizes your time, but there’s no time limit on it - no rushing and no stressing.
Q: DO NEWBORN SESSIONS INCLUDE THE WHOLE FAMILY?
A: Yes! These newborn photography sessions are also family sessions. We will create solo photos of baby, as well as images of baby with siblings, siblings alone, mom and dad with baby, mom with baby, dad with baby, your pet with baby if you’d like - all the combinations!

Based in the charming town of Petaluma, CA, I am passionate about creating beautiful family, newborn, and maternity portraits that tell your unique story. My journey with photography began in a high school darkroom, and since then, I have been dedicated to capturing moments in time that you will cherish forever. Since 2016, I've had the privilege of photographing over a thousand families, each session bringing its own magic and memories.
