A Magical Maternity Beach Session at Dillon Beach { Pregnancy Photographer, Santa Rosa, CA }

There's something so special about capturing a family as they prepare to welcome a new little one into their lives. I recently had the joy of photographing a maternity session for a family I’ve had the honor of working with before—first for their firstborn’s maternity and newborn sessions, and now as they await the arrival of their second baby, another sweet boy!

We decided on Dillon Beach for this session, and it was the perfect backdrop. Their toddler was absolutely full of energy and had such a blast playing in the sand and exploring the shore. Even with the chill in the evening air, he was such a trooper, running around and making us all laugh. Eventually, when it got colder, he warmed up in the car with his uncle, which gave mom, dad, and me some quiet time to create the second part of our session—a moment that felt so intimate and peaceful.

For this part, mom changed into a gorgeous two-piece outfit—soft, lacy, and timelessly feminine. It was such a special, heartfelt moment between her and dad as they embraced this significant time in their lives. Every photograph seemed to reflect the love, excitement, and connection they shared.
